Feature Development:
Dashboard Enhancements

When the User first logs into CompliChain, they land on the HOME page which is the Dashboard View of all the Jobs currently in production. Overall, this view was not very helpful, and user research indicated that not much time was spent on this page, the information was often stale, and visually it was not very appealing.

As I was writing out this feature, I was focused on what each Customer User Type was going to need in their view, what information might be critical for them, and also how to make it more visually appealing overall.

Using Figma, I compiled my thoughts and concept drawings into concept boards. Click on the Figma images to see a closer look.

Dashboard to include:

  • Reporting modules that show:

    • User's assigned jobs or owned jobs

    • Status for current jobs

    • Upcoming Deployment Dates; standard 2-week window, but able to adjust within the settings

  • Clean Modern Look; would like to have a light and dark version

  • Moveable Modules to allow for user "customization"

  • Nice to Have: To-Do List/Action Items that need to be taken
