Healthcare is one of the most important—and often most overwhelming—experiences people will ever navigate. Patients are asked to make life-changing decisions while managing unfamiliar terminology, disconnected systems, and information that isn't always easy to understand or act on.

I believe we can do better.

My career has been shaped by a simple belief: healthcare products should help people feel informed, confident, and supported—not overwhelmed.

That belief didn't begin with product management.
It began much earlier.
Where It Started

My passion for healthcare began long before I ever worked in product management.

As a teenager, I volunteered at a children's hospital, spending time with young patients while their parents met with doctors, social workers, financial counselors, and insurance representatives. While the children waited, I watched their families navigate a system that was far more complicated than I had ever imagined.

What stayed with me wasn't just the medical care—it was everything happening around it. Families were trying to process enormous amounts of information, coordinate conversations across multiple teams, and make important decisions during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

That experience planted a question that has stayed with me throughout my career:

Why does getting the information you need have to be so difficult when you're already dealing with so much?

Years later, that question would become the foundation of my work as a healthcare product leader.

When It Became Personal

Years after those experiences at the children's hospital, I found myself navigating the healthcare system from a completely different perspective—as a patient.

Experiencing a breast cancer diagnosis gave me firsthand insight into the realities of managing appointments, understanding test results, coordinating care across providers, tracking medications, and making important decisions while processing an overwhelming amount of information.

I experienced many of the same challenges I had watched other families face years before. Information existed—but it wasn't always organized, connected, or presented in a way that made it easy to understand and use.

That experience didn't change my mission—it strengthened it.

It reinforced my belief that healthcare products have the power to do much more than digitize existing processes. They can reduce uncertainty, build confidence, and help patients become active participants in their own care.

That belief eventually led me to begin building Health Harmony, a platform designed to help patients organize, understand, and confidently navigate their healthcare journey.

Looking Forward

Healthcare continues to evolve, creating new opportunities to improve how patients experience care. I'm particularly excited by the potential of AI, connected health data, and thoughtful product design to make healthcare more understandable, more personalized, and ultimately more human.

I'm still learning.

Every conversation with a patient, caregiver, clinician, and product team teaches me something new about how healthcare can be made simpler, more understandable, and more human. Those conversations continue to shape the products I build, the questions I ask, and the leader I'm becoming.

Every role I've taken, every product I've built, and every problem I've chosen to solve has been guided by the same question:

How can we help patients better understand & navigate their healthcare?
